Expository Preaching
We seek to establish what the Bible means in a given passage by determining its original meaning to its original audience, and then apply that meaning to our lives today. Our weekly Sunday teaching ministry is a verse-by-verse study of a particular Bible book trying to cover at least one unit of thought at a time (usually a paragraph).
Weekly Bible Study
We have three mid-week Bible studies: Mount Angel, Silverton, and Salem-Keizer. Call the church for more information.
Mount Angel Bible Study, Holiness of God by RC Sproul
Tuesdays at 6:30pm, begins Sept 17th
Silverton Bible Study, Gospel of John and Acts
Wednesdays at 2pm, fall start date to be announced
Salem-Keizer Bible Study, Old Testament Overview
Thursdays at 7pm, begins Sept 26th
Monthly Men’s Meeting
Our men meet together once a month on a Saturday morning at 8am for prayer, Bible study, and fellowship. Currently we are reading/discussing John Piper’s Let the Nations Be Glad!
Children’s Church
Children’s Church happens during our Sunday worship service and is available for kids preschool through 5th grade. Kids learn songs, listen to a Bible story, and memorize a Bible verse.
Youth Group
During the school year, the Mt. Angel Bible Church youth (6th-12th grades) meet every Wednesday night for fellowship, snacks, games, singing, prayer and Bible study.
